The hotel bar at midnight, bottled. Penthouse Suite opens on tobacco leaf sharpened with bergamot and black pepper, warms into cocoa blossom, sandalwood and labdanum, and settles into styrax, amber woods and vanilla bean. It wears like low lighting and good jazz: unhurried, expensive, faintly mischievous.
