❧ The Protocol
The No-Peel Peel
Two phases, one finish
The biphasic formula works in layers: a lipophilic phase that protects and nourishes while the active phase exfoliates and stimulates below the surface. TCA does its resurfacing work without the dramatic shedding of traditional peels.
The booked and busy
Nearly every skin type, every season, and every calendar. It suits dullness, early lines, congestion, and uneven tone, and works on the body as well as the face: backs and chests respond beautifully.
Brighter by the weekend
Skin may feel tight for a day, with at most light flaking. Brightness shows quickly and builds across the series. It also layers elegantly with other treatments such as laser and microneedling.
❧ Questions, answered
Before you book
Will I peel at all? +
Most clients experience little to no visible peeling, occasionally light flaking for a day or two around the chin and nose where skin turns over fastest. The name is almost a misdirection: the work happens beneath the surface.
Judge this peel by the mirror at the end of the week, not by what ends up on your pillowcase. Brightness, smoother texture, and a certain polish are the receipts; visible shedding was never the point.
Can I do BioRePeel in summer? +
Yes, and this is precisely its season. Traditional peels and summer sun quarrel; the BioRePeel's gentle mechanism makes it one of the few resurfacing treatments we happily perform year round.
The condition is diligent SPF, which we would insist on regardless of the month. Treat sunscreen as part of the treatment itself and your summer series will hold its results beautifully.
How many sessions are recommended? +
A series of four to six, spaced one to two weeks apart, delivers the result the treatment is known for. Each session builds on the last, which is why a single peel reads as a nice glow while a completed series reads as different skin.
After the series, most clients drop to a maintenance rhythm, or fold BioRePeel between stronger treatments in their broader plan. Your cadence is mapped at consultation and adjusted as your skin responds.
How do I prepare? +
Very little is required: pause strong actives (retinoids and exfoliating acids) for a few days as directed, arrive with clean skin, and skip fresh tanning in the days before. This peel was designed for real calendars, and the prep reflects it.
Mention any active breakout or cold sore in the treatment area when you book so we can schedule around it, and tell us about new medications, as a few affect how skin handles even gentle peels. That is the entire ceremony.
When can I wear makeup? +
Typically the next day. Skin may feel tight the evening of your treatment, and by morning it is generally ready for your routine, which is exactly why this peel books so well midweek.
If light flaking arrives on day two or three, moisturize rather than exfoliate and apply makeup gently rather than buffing it in. The peel finishes its own work; your job is simply not to interrupt it.
Can it treat the body? +
Beautifully. Backs, chests, and shoulders respond well, both for congestion and for the crepey dullness that body skin collects quietly over the years. Body sessions are a favorite before wedding and vacation seasons for a reason.
Body skin turns over more slowly than the face, so a full series matters even more here, and pairing it with the right body care from the mercantile keeps the results earning interest between visits.
BioRePeel or VI Peel? +
BioRePeel for brightness without visible peeling, on repeat. VI Peel for the deeper, decisive reset when pigment and texture need real correction. They are colleagues, not rivals, and many plans use both.
A useful rule: if your concern is maintenance and glow, start here; if your concern has a name and a history (melasma, sun damage, post acne marks), the VI Peel likely opens and the BioRePeel maintains. Your provider will call it honestly at consultation.
