❧ The Protocol
The cult-worthy peel, with the results to back it.
A considered reset
The peel is painted on in layers and works over the following days, lifting damaged surface cells while signaling renewal underneath. You leave the spa with your post peel kit and precise instructions, along with access to a 24 hour help desk should you have any questions.
Pigment with a deadline
We reach for the VI Peel when discoloration, sun damage, post acne marks, or dull texture need decisive correction. Formulation is selected for your skin and your goals at consultation, including options suited to deeper skin tones.
Plan your calendar, then enjoy it
Day one looks bronzed. Days three to seven involve visible peeling. By the end of the week the new skin arrives: brighter, more even, noticeably smoother and plumper.

❧ Questions, answered
Before you book
How much will I actually peel? +
Most clients peel visibly for three to five days, starting around day three. The amount varies with your skin, the formulation we select, and how faithfully the post peel kit is followed, so no two peel weeks look identical.
Two things to hold onto: peeling is NOT the measure of results (the correction happens in the layers you cannot see), and the shedding must come off on its own schedule. Picking or peeling by hand invites the exact pigmentation you came to correct, and we will remind you of this with love.
Can I wear makeup during the peel week? +
We will walk you through what is allowed day by day in your post peel kit instructions, because the answer changes as the week progresses. The short version: minimal interference, maximal SPF.
Most clients keep the first days bare while the peel is working, then return to light makeup as the shedding finishes. Whatever touches your face that week should be gentle, clean, and applied without dragging at loose skin. Plan the big event for the week after, when the new skin is ready for its portrait.
How often can I do a VI Peel? +
Many clients peel seasonally, treating it as a quarterly reset, while stubborn pigment and melasma often call for a short series spaced several weeks apart so each round builds on the last.
The spacing matters: skin needs time to complete its renewal cycle between peels, and rushing it trades long term results for short term drama. Your provider maps the cadence to your goals at consultation, with imaging tracking whether the pigment is actually retreating rather than everyone simply hoping.
How do I prepare for a VI Peel? +
Pause retinoids and exfoliating acids beforehand as directed, avoid tanning and fresh sun in the weeks prior, and tell us about medications, recent isotretinoin use, or a history of cold sores, since each changes how we plan a medium depth peel.
Then there is the calendar: schedule so peel week does not collide with a gala, a reunion, or family photos. Your full pre peel instructions arrive with your booking confirmation, and the 24 hour help desk stands by for anything the instructions did not anticipate.
Is the VI Peel safe for deeper skin tones? +
Yes, with the right formulation and protocol, which is why yours is selected at consultation rather than off a shelf. Deeper skin tones are more prone to post inflammatory pigmentation when peels are handled carelessly, so careful formulation, preparation, and aftercare are not optional extras here; they are the treatment.
SPF discipline afterward protects the investment, and your provider will be candid about pacing: sometimes the safest route to dramatic correction in melanin rich skin is two measured peels rather than one aggressive one.
Can I exercise during peel week? +
Keep it gentle for the first few days. Heat and heavy sweating interfere with the peel while it is still working, can sting fresh skin, and invite irritation exactly when your skin is most impressionable.
Walks are fine, hot yoga is not, and spin class can wait until the shedding finishes. Your new skin will forgive a short break from the leaderboard; it is less forgiving of a sauna on day two.
VI Peel or BioRePeel: which one? +
The VI Peel is the deeper reset, with real peeling and dramatic correction. The BioRePeel brightens with little to no visible flaking. If your pigment has a deadline, VI. If your calendar cannot show it, BioRePeel. Your provider will call it honestly.
Many plans use both across a year: a VI Peel when decisive correction is due, BioRePeel on repeat to maintain the brightness between. They are colleagues, not rivals, and your consultation decides which one your skin needs first.
