L'Eau de Madame Eau de Parfum

A French family house since 1865, still run by the founder's great great grandson, and this is their most quietly beautiful thing. L'Eau de Madame is iris and musk, inspired by the gardens at Maine Gaillard.

Bergamot, mandarin, and pink pepper open. Orris, jasmine, and violet form a powdery, floral heart. White musk, tonka bean, and sandalwood finish it with warmth.

Iris is one of perfumery's noblest and most expensive materials, and unlike almost anything else, it grows stronger on the skin rather than fading. At 20% concentration, this stays with you.
